Brainspotting therapy in NC.

You know you need something different out of therapy.

For many of the people I work with, therapy isn’t new. They’ve tried talking it through, understanding the past, or managing the symptoms, but something still feels stuck. Trauma can linger in ways we don’t always have words for. My work with Brainspotting helps clients connect with those deeper layers, making space for healing that they didn’t know was possible.

You’re ready to stop feeling…

Numb in moments when you wish you could feel present and connected.

Alone with memories you don’t talk about because you’re not sure anyone would understand.

Frustrated by the constant pressure to keep it together when inside you feel anything but.

Brainspotting can help you process unresolved trauma.

Brainspotting is a powerful, evidence-based approach that helps uncover and release trauma stored deep in the body and nervous system. It allows you to process pain at a level talking alone often can’t reach, making room for genuine healing and relief.

  • Brainspotting uses points in your visual field to access parts of the brain where trauma and difficult experiences are stored. By maintaining focus on these “brainspots” while attuning to what arises, the nervous system has the opportunity to process material that talking alone may not reach. This helps integrate unresolved experiences at both a neurological and emotional level.

  • During a session, we’ll work together to identify a brainspot connected to what you’re experiencing. You’ll focus gently on that point while staying aware of thoughts, feelings, and body sensations, with me guiding the process and ensuring safety throughout. Sessions are paced to your comfort level and do not require you to retell your entire trauma history.

  • Brainspotting can reduce symptoms of trauma, anxiety, and stress by helping your brain and body resolve experiences that remain “stuck.” Many clients report improved emotional regulation, fewer intrusive memories, and a greater sense of calm and control. Over time, this work supports deeper healing and resilience in daily life.

At the end of the day, I want you to know:

You don’t have to carry the weight of this alone. Healing doesn’t happen overnight, but every step you take toward facing what hurts is a step toward freedom. My role is to walk with you in that process, offering clarity, compassion, and tools to help you find steadier ground.

The Process

01

Prepare

Together, we’ll choose an experience, memory, or feeling you want to work on and locate a “brainspot” in your visual field that connects to it.

02

Engage

With me guiding the process, you’ll hold gentle focus on that spot while noticing what comes up in your body, emotions, or thoughts.

03

Integrate

As your brain processes what’s been stuck, you’ll begin to experience relief, clarity, and a greater sense of calm that carries into daily life.
