Out-of-Network Benefits
If we aren't in-network with your insurance provider, you may still be eligible for partial reimbursement through your out-of-network mental health benefits.
For eligible individual therapy services, we can provide a superbill, which is a detailed receipt you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Reimbursement amounts vary by plan and are not guaranteed.
We recommend contacting your insurance provider directly to learn more about your out-of-network coverage.

Frequently asked questions —
-
We recommend contacting your insurance provider to confirm your outpatient mental health benefits. Ask about your copay, deductible, coinsurance, and whether your chosen clinician is in-network.

Most insurance plans are designed to cover treatment for an individual's diagnosed mental health condition rather than counseling focused on the relationship itself. While insurance may cover certain forms of family or couples-based treatment when medically necessary, that often requires identifying one partner as the patient and structuring treatment around their diagnosis.
We believe couples therapy should focus on the relationship and the needs of both partners, without requiring either person to be identified as the patient. For this reason, we offer couples therapy exclusively on a private-pay basis, allowing us to approach the work in a way that best serves the relationship.

Depending on your plan, you may be responsible for the contracted session rate until your deductible is met. Your insurance provider can help clarify your expected out-of-pocket costs.
